Red Cats was chosen by Jan Ledbetter for the Hawaii Watercolor Society Members show 2014.  I had felt the urge to use lines, so they showed up in watercolor and charcoal.  This image is 14"x10" and can be yours unmatted and unframed for $325.  Contact me: Arlene G. Woo

Red Cats,Watercolor by Arlene G. Woo, Hawaii Artist

I wanted to try a different approach: working more with lines and creating a cross between abstraction and realism.  This is image is primarily watercolor but there are few charcoal "scribbles". (Sometimes my hand goes ahead of my head.). Red Cats was selected by Jan Ledbetter for the Hawaii Watercolor Society Members show in April 2014.   The image is 14"x10" on paper.  Unmatted and unframed:  $300

Leslie collects cats. Every time, I’m over there working, one will jump out behind a pot.

It almost reminds me of that Hitchcock movie “The Birds”; although they are not attacking me .I asked if I could do a painting of her holding Boots. It's more of a feline paradise.

She is an extremely kind and generous woman and basically lets me use my own discretion in her garden. She has tons of cat wall planters and there are also ceramic cats everywhere. This is basically an abstract and cubist style painting. If I don’t sell it by Christmas, I will give it to her as a gift.

Sunflower Tuxedo Cat by Naquaiya

"Sunflower Tuxedo Cat"
original watercolor
9"x12"

He was born in a sunflower and he goes back there from time to time to take a rest from his busy schedule. He likes to pontificate, deliberate, and promulgate.
He's just a cool, tuxedo cat who knows that blue and yellow go good together.
