Leslie collects cats. Every time, I’m over there working, one will jump out behind a pot.

It almost reminds me of that Hitchcock movie “The Birds”; although they are not attacking me .I asked if I could do a painting of her holding Boots.

 

She is an extremely kind and generous woman and basically lets me use my own discretion in her garden. She has tons of cat wall planters,sconces and there are also ceramic cats everywhere. This is basically an abstract and cubist style painting. If I don’t sell it by Christmas, I will give it to her as a gift.

I always think it's so sad to see dogs just roaming the streets with no tags or homes.I saw this dog the other day trying to cross a busy street,stopped my truck and at least he ran away from the boulevard.He had such a sad look and I wanted to paint him and capture how he must have felt.This is an abstract and cubist painting.I can still see his eyes pleading for me to take him home.I hope he had a home and was able to find it.I'm afraid i would have picked him up and with my other dog their would be some major issues.

Sonia,once a tragedy in an East Berlin Bar has found the man to take her away from all the misery.An Arabic oilman couldn't resist her and said he would give her anything she wanted.Now,bathing in a luxurious penthouse in Houston and having anything she desires, is beyond her comprehension.Unfortunately,she missed the statement made that he would slice her throat from ear to ear if she did not heed to his beckon call seem to have escaped her.Now as she is raptured by such wealth and promises,that little idiom begins  to have sunk in.Did he really say that? Like her mom used to say"Mein Kind, nichts ist frei. Männer sind Küchenschaben ähnlich."

Magdalena's daughter has finally found her paradise in Mentawai in Indonesia.Surf all day,eat the wonderful fresh fish and fruit but her biggest prize was the surfer she was screwing in Carmel.He had developed a strain of cannabis that was 30% THC and was delivering it to all the medical marijuana shops in Carmel.They will never need money.Unfortunately,Magdalena has a really violent streak so don't be surprised if a blond surfer's head ends up on the beach in the next tsunami..She's a very vindictive woman.That last Marine she was doing had a very tragic ending.A dumpster diver found in the back dumpster his severed head in a Family pack box from KFC.The Colonel wouldn't be pleased. vibrant colors,oranges,reds,greens,blues.

This photograph was not good.There is no bluring of the sky or any of the colors.The hues are not diluted much.My final phase of painting after building it up is pure colors diluted only with pure linseed.

The woman and dog.This painting for some reason reminded me of post war Germany.It's an oil abstract,cubist painting of a woman on a couch reading with her faithful chocolate lab guarding her.It's on a gallery wrap canvas and needs no frame.I loved doing this painting.Cubism seems to take a life of it's own and I just go with it.There are a lot of details that can't be captured with a camera but it's a very interesting painting.It's available in a couple of days.
