I am happy to announce that I am now represented by Florida Artists Gallery in historic Floral City,
Florida. This delightful gallery is filled with outstanding art and a
cute cafe that is manned by a professional chef. The building itself is
also historic and was moved to this location years ago, where it sits
on a garden-like lot in the center of town. If you visit the Nature
Coast of Florida, be sure to make this gallery one of your "must visit"
In fact, a great reason to see Floral City and visit the gallery, would be to sign up for my next workshop in nearby Inverness!
Don't miss this opportunity to spend 3 fun filled days painting big, bold abstracts!
This is another in the Metamorphosis series, characterized by the warm colors accented by deep green, copper, and stamping. This is a large painting, 72" tall. It has a deep box of 2.5" . The sides are very well finished, and no frame is needed. The Entity has the light of the Creator touching the shoulder, and the light of the Creator also enters in the descending golden squares. Energy seems to surround the Entity, flowing from the spiral at top right. Confianza means confidence in Spanish.
30"x40". This large textured painting on canvas is stretched on 1.5"
deep wood bars. The sides are painted a shimmery black Micaceous Iron
Oxide, giving the painting a finished appearance. It is wired and
ready to hang, framing is not needed. The painting is signed on the
side, dated and signed on the back.
I was in a blue mood....I pulled out my blues in tubes and oil sticks and made a sample color chart. Then I picked the blues I thought would be great on this canvas, and mixed a lot of them. Here is pic of the blue hues that I had at the studio....probably more than I really need. But after years of painting, I have collected some great blues. Probably my top three colors are:
1 Richeson Ice Blue
2 Classic Cobalt
3 Charvin Linen Flower
