Here is one more painting from the "Summer in the City" series, shown framed in a black float frame.  I used some black color in this painting and it looks good framed in the black!  The description for the painting and costs :   an 11" x 14" painting, framed in a black float frame.  The framed size is 13" x 16", with a wire on the back and ready for framing.  Shipping is included in the cost ; California residents pay an additional sales tax.  Please email me if you have questions!

The show is over; I displayed my work for the first two weekends in June, at Jack London Square in Oakland, California.   It was a truly fun and awesome show, and I made new connections with artists, buyers and had some friends stop in. Loved it!!  One of my most successful shows.

"Hot town, Summer in the City

Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty . . . "

I've painted a collection of small cityscape and abstract paintings, the majority of them in acrylic and oil paints on archival panel, with the inspiration of  SUMMER IN THE CITY” as the organizing theme. City forms are a recurring inspiration for my paintings .

Nineteen paintings were painted between April 27, 2013 - May 27, 2013, sized 16" x 12" to 9" x 12", and they're priced in the 'affordable art' category.   With all acknowledgement to the Lovin Spoonful for the song released in 1966, and lyrics for the inspiration for painting titles.

See the link for the full collection ; two of the paintings have already sold!  http://www.flickr.com/photos/14535434@N06/sets/72157633756092298/

This collection and a selection of other paintings will be available at a group show, please see this post
