Only the Lonely by Kay Wyne

Only The Lonely

8" x 16" Oil on Cotton Panel
Palette Knife Painting
This palette knife painting is hanging at Dutch Art Gallery in a beautful gold frame. I got the palette knife out and created this empty nest----off center on the canvas. I like the limited colors in this painting...blue, my favorite color and some neutrals...raw sienna and burnt umber along with white and greys. Thanks for viewing this blog, Kay

Framed in Plein Air Gold Frame

More nest paintings are on the way!!! This one has lots of color which makes it playful and whimsical. Not realistic. I doubt that you could find a bird's nest with many shades of blue, green. gold, white, turqoise, purple and brown in your backyard. Please contact me if you are intrested in this painting. Thanks for looking!

Quick Study Nest by Kay Wyne

This is one of my Nest Series paintings...a 12" x 12" oil on masonite. It was a fast and loose painting, using a brush...no palette knife of this one. There are hints of lavender and green in the nest of sticks and twigs. This painting would be great framed up. If you would like to purchase this painting, please contact me! http://kwyne.com/myblogs.html
