sold! "Fun Zone", small abstract by Lynne Cunningham

"Fun Zone", acrylic + oil paint on panel

Paintings can be fun and expressive . . .in smaller homes or small spaces sometimes all you want from an art piece is that it be simple, fun and that the art adds color to the space. . . this one would fit that description! I totally enjoyed painting this little abstract.

Here's a gallery page on my website   to view the paintings in this ongoing show for August / September; contact me if you'd like information on where to purchase any on that page.

If you have questions or wish to purchase one of the Small Works or larger paintings shown in that gallery, visit this link  to contact me.

I'm finishing up larger paintings and in between, it is time to play!  After a long day of painting I still find energy to go on an hour or two more, and see what happens ~ and most often the results are good.  It's creativity unleashed and unrestricted painting time, no huge goal except to experiment.

This painting was the result after a long day painting over the weekend.  The textured acrylic painting is on deep cradled panel with beautiful natural wood sides, ready to hang.  The painting is signed on the back, and is protected with a coat of matte varnish.

From my 'City' series, a composition in high contrast!  The black and white with saturated color palette was fun to use with transparent glazes, and also to create textures in the painting.  This small painting is sized to fit a standard sized frame; you can purchase here now prior to the show.  Please email me if you have any questions on the painting or shipping.
