Seems as though I keep taking photos of things in my own home.

Pretty soon, like now, I'm going to run out of things!  I just installed

barn doors (or I should say, my sweet son did) and I do have little

ones scurrying around.

This is a free form compulation of Houston's skyline as seen from Allen Parkway.It's a smaller painting than I usually do but it has some interesting textures by building up the paint.Although,not an exact photographic image,it does include some buildings from Philip Johnson.I was trying to get the feeling of heat since I shot this pic in August.I love Houston but half the year it's like living in Cairo with humidity.I still have some touch up's to do but it's finished.I'm glad I didn't use a larger canvas.
