A new artist friend recently bought this painting! no better compliment than that. It was a very hot day when she bought it from me so the title certainly fit!
This abstract cityscape painting developed over a couple of month and I finished it recently in my studio. The shapes and forms of cities are always inspiring for me, and I like to think about distant views, playing with the perspective and how to paint shapes that are abstract yet reminiscent of a city.
