"Hot town, Summer in the City
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty . . . "
I've painted a collection of small cityscape and abstract paintings, the majority of them in acrylic and oil paints on archival panel, with the inspiration of SUMMER IN THE CITY” as the organizing theme. City forms are a recurring inspiration for my paintings .
Nineteen paintings were painted between April 27, 2013 - May 27, 2013, sized 16" x 12" to 9" x 12", and they're priced in the 'affordable art' category. With all acknowledgement to the Lovin Spoonful for the song released in 1966, and lyrics for the inspiration for painting titles.
