Painting # 28 of my Painting a Day project. This piece was painted on Ampersand panel, which has a rather slick surface. I found I had to let it dry a few days before coming in with details. "The Way of the Wolf" by Kate Dardine

I've been working on this painting for several months - at various stages I've thought, "It's done," only to look at it again and discover something that needs more work. But now I think it is finished - and I'll be entering it into a show in a few weeks.
