This is Acrylic Paint and Acrylic Paint Skins which overhang the edge of the framed canvas. It has nice depth and a low relief oval form that resembles an iceberg shape.
11.5"x8.5"x1" Acrylic on Canvas-Framed
I began this piece on my weekly series, Mixed Media Soul Sparks. It involves a transfer, stencils, background fluid acrylic painting and collage. A lot packed into a small package.
Framed in a black floater frame.

Acrylic on panel framed in a black wood floater framed. I love to use book pages in the background of my paintings not only to lend another layer of design but because of the information that they give to the painting. I use many old math and science books so you will be surprised at what you may find when you look closely. This little gem has deep texture from the white lines that rise above the pages.
