Kestrel by Kate Dardine

10x10 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. An early Spring blizzard roared in from the west, and a lone kestrel took refuge on my porch for a couple of hours, hunkered down against the wind and snow. And so I was inspired to paint the lovely little raptor and meditate on what message he might have for me.
