I know I just posted this a few days ago, but in this view, the two canvases are reversed, with the 24x36 on the left, and the 24x20 on the right.  I think I like it better this way.

Contemporary Oil Painting

This is a 18" x 18" oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. Very colorful. Inspired by yarn. Lots of stacked up yarn in a bin. It is a kaleidoscope of variegated colors. I thought I would rename this painting, but Yarn it is. I was thinking that a series of yarn paintings might be interesting...take  a trip through a yarn shop and see all of the beautiful colors, textures and thicknesses of the yarns.  Maybe I will put that on my to-do list.  I am getting ready to start a new series for 2013, but I have not decided exactly what my guidelines for that series will be.  Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing.
