Spirit With Us, Three Arabian Horses Painting by A Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Spirit With Us
by a Texas Artist Laurie Pace
SOLD

30 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas

The couple from the UK prayed about the name of the painting. They based it on the Trinity in a sense, but thinking of a marriage where two become together as one, Keith reflected as God at the top of the triangle and he and his wife the bottom two points. As you reduce the size of the triangle... all comes together closer as one.  He also mentioned the white Arabian symbolized purity in the Holy Spirit and the two brown Arabians were representative of he and his wife and their state of uncleanness, still working to become closer to the Father.

"Begin each Day as if it were on Purpose" MJ Zorad

Abstract Oil Painting
"Frosty Morning"
15" x 30" Painting on canvas

My readings from last night.
From Siddartha by Hermann Hesse

"Truly, nothing in the world has occupied my thoughts as much as the Self, this riddle, that I live, that I am one and am separated and different from everybody else, that I am Siddartha;"
"and Govinda saw that his mask-like smiled, this smile or unity over the flowing forms, this smile of simultaneousness over the thousands of births and deaths - this smile of Siddartha- was exactly the same as the calm, delicate, impenetrable, perhaps gracious, wise, thousand-fold smile of Gotama, the Buddha, as he perceived it with awe a hundred times. It was in such a manner, Govinda knew, that the Perfect One smiled."

Solmates by A.B.Deneweth

This is an abstract painting of my beautiful Arabian horse, which I owned many years ago, and his stablemate. It's one of my favorite equine paintings and it always reminds me how much I enjoy painting horses. Owning a horse was a lifelong dream come true and I tried to express that feeling in the colors. In this particular painting, I used high chroma, layered acrylics.

"Solmates" by A.B.Deneweth, 12 x 16 acrylic on panel, private collection.
