This is an abstract painting of my beautiful Arabian horse, which I owned many years ago, and his stablemate. It's one of my favorite equine paintings and it always reminds me how much I enjoy painting horses. Owning a horse was a lifelong dream come true and I tried to express that feeling in the colors. In this particular painting, I used high chroma, layered acrylics."Solmates" by A.B.Deneweth, 12 x 16 acrylic on panel, private collection.
