My fascination with abstract botanicals and paintings inspired by ponds continues! It's good to have themes that I return to and this is a theme I've re-visited many times. The tangle and shapes of pond vegetation inspired the design of this painting. I paint my acrylic paintings to the edge of the gessoed, deckle-edge paper so the painting can be float-framed. This painting is shipped matted, with a foamcore backing board and plastic. Shipping is via FedEx Ground and is included in the cost. I'm focusing on abstracts and abstracted landscapes for 2013; a new season of spring, the time of growth and I'm doing new work.
