Practicing awareness of, and cultivating attention to, the deeper voice of the soul is the basis of my creative process. When I’m in my head, plotting, overthinking, analyzing, and trying to please myself or others, my art is self conscious and shallow. When I allow the whispers of “try this or you could do that” to lead the way, the result has greater resonance.
