There is a time in life and with the creative cycle that we need to be still. While present and aware without "doing", we are resting and receiving insights and refreshment. Our activity slows while ideas incubate underground where they ripen and grow before emerging into the world. In 24 hours we need time for being asleep and awake; and with our creative endeavors we need periods of doing and receiving. This painting is about quiet and rest.
