Worked on this one simultaneously while painting another recent painting "Innermost". Each new painting is a challenge in itself. They say that artist's are people who are easily bored. True. That's why we have a need to be making things. Creating an abstract painting keeps me engaged and focused on the piece until it is completed. How do I know it is finished? It's that aha moment, this is good or wow!... which for some reason tends to occur just as you thought it would not. This is where perseverance pays off. With some paintings this moment will come together rather quickly, whereas others may take a time of being contemplated over.
