We're having a heat wave . . . it is HOT! I created this painting a few weeks ago, with acrylic paints on archival panel, then a final layering of oil paint. It is so appropriate for the weather we're having now!
This scene could be an abstract view of a valley, a water scene, a view of desert hills. After I painted it , it reminded me of the desert town of Thermal, California with the glowing Mecca Hills in the background and alfalfa fields in the foreground . . . but it can be reminiscent of anything you see within this painting. I hope you enjoy it! The painting is packaged and shipped in protective foamcore, in a plastic sleeve.
