During the month of May, I painted very intensively during a creative streak, to get ready for June shows. Sometimes I'd paint for several hours, like 6 to 8 hours, then begin to about wrap up the painting day , and then I'd start 'playing' at painting which sometimes went for a couple MORE hours! While it wasn't 30 paintings in 30 days it was nearly that.
I had such great results during the month of May. The paintings were not limited in size: the smallest were 9"x12" to 12" x 16" for the smaller sizes, and the largest is 28" x 42". I re-worked some paintings that had been unhappy little paintings that hadn't quite come together, and to re-make and make them into what I envisioned when I was painting en plein air or in the studio, well it was a wonderful relief!
I also sold 12 paintings in 30 days! THAT is something I've never done before. . . . so I'll keep going along this path of abstract and abstracted landscapes.
