This painting, along with 10 other fresh new paintings, is on display at Seasons Restaurant in downtown Davis, California. I've been showing work in an ongoing solo show now for two years ! The theme for this summer is abstract florals and gardens along with abstracts in vibrant colors. The dining room, bar area and private dining room all have big abstracts in works on canvas or acrylic on paper like "Ixia and Iris", shown above. The florals in the painting were from my garden, by the way! Another fun and funky painting.
This painting is float-framed under plexiglas. It features the acrylic on paper painting very well; the outside frame is blond colored wood. The painting is signed on the back on the front, on the white mat. If you'd like photos, please inquire by contacting me at the email above.

I hang the paintings on the beautiful earthy/ochre yellow walls and medium slate blue walls of the restaurant, the setting always makes my paintings sing. It's a synchronicity of color!
