This painting is done in earth colors and in
layers that remind me of the layers of rock
that form our ancient earth. the womb shape
in the center of the canvas has the copper
descending squares of the light of the Creator
beside the Entity who is looking on. Below,
at the mouth of the womb, are dark, matte
figures that are the souls, either ancient or
