I loved creating this painting and its companion piece, Journey Back, which was sold recently.
The surface of the canvas is heavily textured and accented with a variety of collaged materials, giving it a lively and rich appearance. Diluted bronze metallic paint sprinkled with alcohol adds a bit pizazz to the painting.
