This is a plein air oil abstract landscape that I painted during a landscape painting workshop with Tim Deibler, a wonderful Colorado landscape painter near La Veta, Colorado. While I'm more of a "comfy" studio painter, there's nothing like capturing light in "real time." The Spanish Peaks looked different everyday and though challenging, provided amazing painting inspiration.
