KMA2855 Evolving Spaces by Colorado artist Kit Hevron Mahoney (abstract, contemporary original art)

I am finally in the process of creating a series of abstract paintings based on natural forms found in nature. This series is inspired from my latest trip to Kauai where I photographed some exquisite close ups from the bark of a Eucalyptus tree. The colors and patterns thrilled me as I looked through the camera and even more as I paint my interpretation on canvas.
