In August I painted plein air in Santa Fe with Dallas instructor Niki Gulley. She chose this great spot near Canyon Road. We were secluded from the traffic and street noise beside a small steam and a picnic table. I took a few liberties in painting the Inn at Loretto. and Mangiamo Pronto. The yellow umbrellas on the patio were a charming scene.
The painting can be seen at Visual Expressions Art Gallery for a fall show. Reception is Friday, November 13, 7-9 and it will hang until December 2, 2011.
