This is another in my forest abstract series of mixed media paintings. I'm very disappointed in the photos. The purple in the top photo is not nearly that bright. In the lower photo, the purple hardly shows at all (sigh).
Since I got my computer back after the hard drive went kaput, I don't have my favorite photo editing software. I have to figure out a new one, but obviously, I don't know it very well yet.
The painting itself is just what I was going for. I'm very pleased with it. I seem to be stuck in a color rut of gold, red, and purple, however. You can see that this piece has a lot of collage elements and tons of texture.
