This is one of the paintings in my encaustic series called
"Emerging Patterns."
At the base of the painting is a vintage dress pattern.
Encaustic layers are then added and then scraped back to offer a glimpse of what's beneath. This painting is on a wooden cradled board measuring 12" x 9" x 2.5".
The edges are painted black.
