This painting was inspired and painted to the music of The Violet Burning. It was the song "Maker of the Stars" that I listened to over.... and over.... and over.... as I worked. Painted exclusively with a palette knife and layered with layers of color. The words of this song have been taken out of Psalm 8:3-4
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which you have ordained....
