Indigo One by Carol Engles

This is a 16x22 mixed media painting on paper. I am doing a series of futuristic pieces with the deep blue color, indigo. I have no idea where this inspiration came from. I have always been a Star Trek fan, so who knows! Seriously, I usually do work inspired by organic or earthly subjects, so this is a departure of subject for me.     That's what I see as well, Melody! I had so much fun doing this piece. Hopefully, I can do some more with this theme.
