I am often asked where I get my inspiration. I think inspiration is a mysterious and fuzzy concept to artists and non-artists (normal people?) alike. One of my favorite artists, Chuck Close, has this to say on the subject: "Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work." Amen to that!
