This painting is one of the first paintings that I did in a workshop with Carol Marine this year. It is on a 6" x 8" panel. I remember the exercise well. We were to paint each stroke deliberately, and with a different color of paint on each brush stroke. No mixing big piles of paint. Creating a new color each time the brush was hitting the canvas. Lucky for me, it was sold at the workshop and I did not bring it home. I think I will do this exercise next time I am in the studio.
