This is a 24" x 30" acrylic & ink painting done on watercolor paper. I then mounted it on board so I could place it in a frame without using glass/plexiglass and the textured surface could be better seen & enjoyed. However, without the white matting, the painting doesn't "pop" as much in a gold or black frame. It looks best in a white frame (which is probably taking the place of the white matt). I am having a hard time finding a white frame...molding seems to be unavailable in styles that I like or become very expensive. Any suggestions from anyone on a alternative way to "pop" this painting without using white matt or glass? If interested in purchasing contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com
