As part of an eco art project I have begun painting on objects that I have recycled, resused, or repurposed, whether it be siding from a house project, wooden finds from a local thrift store, silver spoons I have altered and painted on or what you find here, simple brown paper sacks. It is fun to take discarded items and turn them into fine art.

Good morning everyone! To continue my theme of recycled eco-art this week, I'm posting this watercolor abstract. The grid pattern in the background was made from a discarded piece of plastic construction fence (aka "trash") which I found on the street by my house.

"Puzzle Palette" by A.B. Deneweth

In the spirit of art recycling, one of the ways I like to create full color spectrum abstracts is to use a canvas board as an oil painting palette for a day or two, then make a complete painting out of it. In this case, I added some stamping to the finished piece as well to give it a bit more interest and depth.
