Leaf Collage Abstract Painting - Daily Warmups by Melody Cleary, Oregon Artist

I love fossil leaves. I do these mini collages by recycling old works on paper, applying glazes of color, and finally fusing on a leaf with gloss medium/varnish. I apply these onto 5x7 greeting cards that have this quote printed on them...'the day I see a leaf is a marvel of a day'. Sure does express my love of leaves.

Nice for a small frame, too. Each is unique.
