Contemporary Health Care Medical Art Paintings "Bone Building" by Contemporary Realism Artist Carol A. McIntyre

In "Bone Building," I decided to boost my colors to a brighter intensity than in my other paintings featuring bones. I also challenged myself with an odd picture plane size - 36x12.
Our leg bones seemed to fit the bill rather well.   Does the abstract background make you think of a stone wall or perhaps of a cellular structure? Can you find the glass marble/air bubble in the painting?

Contemporary Health Care Medical Art Paintings "The Seeker" by Contemporary Realism Artist Carol A. McIntyre

As I paint these bones with the intent to inspire viewers to consider their bone health, I am always looking for ways to send this message. In this painting - The Seeker - I thought it would be fun to position the arm and leg bones in a fun position.

Does it appear as if this skeleton is about to spring or take off? Could you position your body like this?

In order for us to maneuver, we need our nervous system. Hence, I included neurons in the background. The internal glow is to draw you into the painting as well as your own body.  I made one neuron glow more than the others as if the hand is seeking this energy in order to take-off.

Don't forget to look for the marble....:)
