"Spiritu del Oso", abstract landscape autumn aspen trees by Kate Dardine

Spiritu del Oso, 30x12

The title of this painting means Spirit of the Bear. Autumn is a time of gathering, preparing for the long Winter ahead. Bear medicine teaches us introspection that aides in the understanding of life's lessons and in the discovery that we have the answers to all questions within us. If you look closely, you may catch a glimpse of Spiritu del Oso.

"Red is Always In" by A.B.Deneweth

The great American designer, Bill Blass once said "Red is the ultimate cure for sadness." Personally, I usually go straight to chocolate, but I think red is an awfully good second. This abstract painting is from a series of fall inspired layered acrylic nature stamp paintings where I use real leaves and other found objects.
