I
have always loved the song, "America, The Beautiful" and thought it
might be an appropriate gesture for this special week, Thanksgiving and
all, to salute this wonderful country in which we live. I believe that
the song was inspired by Pike's Peak here in Colorado and written by
Katharine Lee Bates in 1893.
