In the Red is an acrylic abstract painting on Fabriano watercolor paper.  The painting is accented with collage, stenciling and sgrafitto.  The actual image measures 15"x15" with a 1" border all around.  It is signed on the front, signed and dated on the back.  The painting is not matted or framed.

Here is an example of what it would look like matted and framed in a simple black frame.

Red Hills measures 30" x 30".  This boldly painted abstract landscape painting is stretched on 1.5" deep bars.  The sides are painted in a shimmery gray/black Micaceous Iron Oxide.  It is signed on the side, dated and signed on the back.  The painting is wired and ready to hang - framing is not needed.  It is sealed with a protective clear acrylic varnish.

Metallic gold leaf and iridescent bronze add to the richness of this painting.
Recuerdo measures 24"x24".  The gallery wrapped canvas is stretched on 1.5" deep wood bars.  The sides are painted a lustrous black micaceous iron oxide.  This painting is wired and ready to hang and does not need to be framed.  A gloss varnish has been applied to protect the surface of the canvas from dust and UV rays.

Inverness is about 80 miles away from either Tampa or Orlando International airports.  If you are planning to fly in from out of state, there is no need to rent a car.  We have shuttle service available to and from the airports.  I will make sure you have transportation from Central Motel to Ft. Cooper State Park.

This painting is a good example of some of the techniques that I teach in my 
Go Big Go Bold abstract painting workshop.  The canvas is heavily textured.  Washes of color are applied, scrubbed out and allowed to permeate into the distressed surface of the canvas, creating a "history" upon which the painting developed.
