Walking up through the dunes to get first sight of the ocean

is always a thrill for me,

especially having lived in the desert the past 21 years.

I hope this contemporary landscape captures a feel

for the dunes, the air, the sea life, the water.

This scene was painted on a stretched canvas, has painted edges,

and is wired in the back for hanging.
