Still Life Fine Art Oil Painting,Coastal, Virgin Islands "Calla Lilies and Wine" by Illinois Artist Marilyn Weisberg

A young man celebrating his 4th anniversary commissioned me to do this painting for his wife as a surprise gift. He wanted a scene from their vacation in the Virgin Islands—white calla lilies with purple centers on a white table, a favorite vase, favorite wine, wine glasses, and keepsake pebbles. I set up a still life with all the props and painted from that. My client loved the finished product, which made me happy.
