Beyond the Wall 11x9

The sun is peeking through the clouds and when you look closely you will see many layers that depict the earth. The paints used in this painting have metal particles of bronze and the sky shimmers with iridescent paints. Afterglow 13x10

I created this painting for my book Acrylic Painting for Encaustic Effects. I have used acrylic to make it appear like wax. There is gold leaf and both interference and iridescent paints in this beauty. It really glows and has that soft wax-like finish, but it is all acrylic. La Luz 10x13

La Luz is the companion piece for Afterglow even though it hangs in a different orientation. The colors work together well. It too has iridescent and interference paints. Space Rocks is acrylic on canvas and the painting wraps around the si
