This is a quick sketch of the winter garden next to my sister's old stone house.
The stone is from the Guadalupe River bottom and is in place since 1873.
I love the color of the dry grass and bare plumbago against the limestone
wall. The Texas settlers were of German decent and settled along the
rivers in the hill country.
