This painting, based on Psalm 18 talks about darkness as the Lord's secret place and dark waters with thick clouds of the skies surrounding Him. Inspired by this, the colors used are deep phthalo blues and greens, payne's grey, and whites. Parts of the paint are transluscent in order to see the different layers of the piece.
