This group of encaustic paintings are part of the Adam Series based on the Book of Genesis when God creates Adam from the dirt. Each color represents the myriad colors of the human skin. Dirt is incorporated within each piece signifying the union of God, man/woman, and the earth. The movement wthin each piece exemplifies the creative act.
