Very Respectfully I am Painting How i Feel About World War One

I was brought up on a diet of the glory of war (no surprise there I was born to a family who had just helped defeat Hitler), i was very young and i lived at a famous Battle of Britain station.
Much later and for fun took a trip to Flanders to visit the WW1 battlefields. It changed me forever. Gone was the glory of war, it was replaced by the horrors and despair of war.
It is 100 years nearly since the first shot was fired and time I painted how i feel about the war to end wars. Here are my first two attempts -
