SOLD This is an original oil on a stretched cotton canvas wrap that measures 8 x 16 x 2. This can be hung as is or put in a traditional frame or floater frame. The painting is done in heavy impasto and palette knife techniques which gives it a layered look. The sides are painted in the deep burgundy color to match the front of the painting.
Purple daylilies that stretch to the sun are regal and last such a long time in the garden. These daylilies are enjoying a beautiful sunny day. One competing against the other for space in the crowded garden. Soon the butterflies and hummingbirds will visit to collect the pollen of the day.
