“Measured Steps” was created using various shades of burgundy and pink acrylic on canvas, but I just wasn't happy with the final piece, so I added the orange, but it still didn’t work. Finally after putting it aside looking at it for 6 or 7 days, I added the vertical stripes…and it was resolved. The photo does not do justice to the piece - lots of texture and a visual softness. Mixed Media (mostly acrylic) - 36 x 36 on canvas.
