Here’s another still life, with brushwork and palette knife full of paint toward the end.
I cut up a bunch of matboard into 5 x 7″ pieces, then gessoed them all several times, and now I have a stack of 55 of them placed between waxed paper, and every day I’m painting if not one, then maybe even 3 or more of them. I’m determined to “get” still lifes. : )
